The problem
For dogs that pull like they're taking you for a walk
You know the walk. Forty minutes of leaning, one arm longer than the other, and a dog who arrives home more wound up than when they left. It isn't disobedience — a dog that feels pressure on its chest pushes into it. That's reflex, not attitude.
So the harder you hold, the harder they pull, and both of you get worse at walking.
The mechanics
Why a back clip works against you
On a back-clip harness the lead attaches between the shoulder blades — behind the dog's centre of gravity. Pull on it and the force runs straight down the spine, pointing the dog forward. It is the same geometry a sled harness uses, for the same reason.

- Your correction and their instinct pull in the same direction
- The dog keeps facing where they wanted to go anyway
The difference
The front clip turns them back toward you
Move the attachment point to the chest and the geometry flips. When the lead goes tight, the pull comes from in front of the shoulder, so the dog's front end rotates back toward you rather than driving ahead.
Nothing tightens, nothing pinches. The lead simply pulls from a place where forward isn't the easy direction any more.

How it works
Three things, and only the first one takes any thought.
Fit the harness
Step your dog in, clip the side buckle, then pull the five straps until you can slide two flat fingers underneath. You set this once.
Clip the lead
Use the front D-ring on the chest for walks where pulling is the problem. Switch to the back ring once they've settled.
Enjoy calmer walks
No tightening, no correction, no shouting. The lead just stops rewarding the direction they were pulling in.

How does the front clip work?

Is the harness adjustable?
Yes, at five points — both shoulder straps, the chest panel and the belly strap on each side. You set it once when it arrives and it holds.
Where will my dog's name appear?
Printed onto the side panel of the harness, in high-contrast lettering, so it is readable from a distance. If you add a phone number it goes on a second line underneath the name.
Is the phone number optional?
Completely. Plenty of people add just the name. The number is there because a harness someone can read from ten feet away is faster than a tag they have to catch your dog to check.
How long does personalisation take?
It is printed as part of making the harness, so it does not delay your order — personalised and plain ship in the same window.
What if I order the wrong size?
Send it back and we will swap it. Exchanges for a different size are free — you are not paying twice because a chest measurement came out a centimetre off.
What is the return policy?
90 days. If it does not work for your dog, email us for a refund. It can come back used — a harness you never took on a real walk tells you nothing.
